Alphington Road

Alphington Road

AAA provided consultancy and design required to achieve planning permission for a supermarket store extension which required reconfiguration of the existing customer car park, alterations to the road layout and provision of a new road linking Alphington Road with Marsh Green Road.
The creation of the link road required the removal and reconstruction of a former railway embankment which as well as providing containment of views in and out of the site provided valuable ecological habitat, designated as a SLINC (site of local interest for nature conservation)
AAA worked closely with ecologists and engineer’s to provide a solution where the embankment removed was reconstructed and diverse habitat types re-established as mitigation against that lost due to development. When established the management of the embankment is to pass to Devonshire Wildlife Trust
