Arthur Amos Associates was commissioned to review the landscape areas within the immediate vicinity of the Main Terminal building and approach road at Birmingham International Airport and to comment on site-wide issues, following a series of poorly integrated developments.
After identifying the existing problems, Arthur Amos Associates produced a detailed planting and renovation scheme, including drawings, specifications, schedules and tender documents. This fulfilled the function of screening the car park from the approach road and drawing people towards the Main Terminal while allowing surveillance of the car park from the main terminal.
